The Bothnian Sea Diving project is not just about diving – it’s about discovering, documenting and sharing a world that many people never get to see. Our passion extends far beyond the surface of the water. We are driven by a deep desire to immortalize the stories of wrecks and bring them to life through film and images. For us, every dive is an opportunity to open a window to the past and let the world experience the beauty and mystery of the depths of the Bothnian Sea or the fjords of Norway.
Exploring and filming wrecks is an art in itself. It requires patience, precision and a genuine respect for history. Each wreck carries its own story – of stormy seas, lost ships and human destinies. At Bothnian Sea Diving, we make it our mission to capture these moments and make them accessible to everyone, whether you’re an experienced diver or just curious about the hidden world of the sea. We spend a lot of time finding those details, reading old archives and waiting for better weather. Often we film for a whole week, sometimes several. Then it’s a matter of putting together a movie that’s interesting to watch, whether you’re a diver or not.
Lighting and storytelling
Over a number of years, we have developed a technique and lighting that produces great results. Then we have worked out a flow in editing and post-processing that makes the films stand out, keep the pace and become interesting.

Our productions are more than just documentaries – they are a celebration of the ocean’s mystery and history. Combining advanced underwater technology with our creative vision, we create films and images that inspire, move and educate. For us, it’s not just about what lies at the bottom of the sea, but what it can tell us today.
Diving is friendship
We believe in community in our explorations, we think we need to tell emotional stories about our adventures. There should be sadness, excitement but also a lot of joy and laughter. Join us on our journey, where we dive deeper, search further and share more than just time in the water. The goal is to show the world what’s really hiding below the surface.
